About Me — Why I Created Cali’s Mystery Scoops 💕
Cali’s Mystery Scoops started during a time in my life when I was trying to figure out what came next. I was a recently divorced mom of two, working a full-time job, learning how to navigate a completely new version of my life. At the same time, the company I worked for was being bought, and for the first time in a long time, I didn’t feel secure in the career I had always counted on.
I was stressed. I was worried. And some days, my brain just needed somewhere else to go. Like so many of us do, I turned to social media. What started as a little doom scrolling eventually led me to something completely unexpected: mystery scoop lives.
I found RDKN, Nab Scoops, Prairie Scoops, and Trippin Daisy Wax, and before long, watching these women became my little getaway.
They had absolutely no idea who I was or what they were doing for me. They didn’t know that on stressful nights I was sitting on the other side of the screen watching, laughing, getting excited over someone’s scoop, and—for a little while—not thinking about everything I was worried about.
It was fun. It was positive. It gave my mind somewhere happy to go.
And eventually I thought…
What if I could create that feeling for someone else?
That’s how Cali’s Mystery Scoops was born. 💗
I love my kids, I love my animals, and I’m slowly figuring out this new life of mine. Cali’s has become part of that journey.
Of course I love the mystery, the surprises, the pretty things, and putting orders together—but what I really want to create is a place where women can come hang out, laugh, relax, and forget about real life for a little while.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed.
